Our Transitional Living Program is looking for Female Resident Assistants in Dover, NH. This is a live in position. Volunteer RA's help provide positive role modeling for motivated at risk young adults 18-21 years of age in exchange for free rent, free utilities, cable & internet as well as private rooms, laundry on site and off street parking. RA's need excellent boundaries and communication skills and are supervised by the program's case managers. RA's must also be stable (working and/or in school), single, non-custodial parent and capable of enforcing program rules. Criminal background checks are required. Full time Home Visitors needed to provide support to families beginning in the prenatal stage through the child's first three years of life. Focus is on health education, family support and child development as well as assisting clients in accessing various program and services in the community. BS or BA degree required with experience and 1 to 2 years of home visiting, infant/toddler development, parenting education preferred. NH VISITATION CENTER FACILITATOR – LEBANON, NH
The Visitation Facilitator will be responsible for supervising visits and providing a safe, secure environment, for children visiting with their non-custodial parents. Facilitators will also supervise visits between children in the custody of the Vermont Department for Children and Families whose parents need additional training and supervision to be reunited with their children. In this position, you will monitor exchanges between custodial and non-custodial parents and record observational notes. Additional responsibilities include working with the program manager and collaborating agencies to meet the needs of clients seeking service, attending trainings, in-services and supervision as required, as well as participating in case conferences and court appearances upon request Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice or related field preferred. 2 years related work experience assisting children and families a plus. Must demonstrate effective skills in dealing with families involved win abuse/neglect situation as well as those involved with domestic violence and contentious divorce. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to solve problems quickly and be familiar with de-escalation techniques. Ideal candidates will be detail oriented, able to multi-task, able to communicate effectively with families and professionals, and be an efficient time manager with the ability to prioritize workloads. SENIOR CLINICAL CASEWORKER/DAY TREATMENT PROGRAM - CONCORD, NH AREA
Day Treatment Program seeks senior clinical caseworker who will work with the program manager to develop and facilitate individual assessments and clinical intervention for program participants ages 12-21. Interventions include individual, group and family therapy. The clinical caseworker will work as part of the Day Treatment Team and be responsible for creating a safe and therapeutic environment that is strengths based and promotes positive youth development.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work or related fields, and at least two years of direct work experience assisting children and families or a BS degree in related field and at least 5 years directly related experience with high risk youth. Minimum experience of 2 years in adolescent social or clinical services, including awareness of substance use disorders and community resources a plus. Candidates must be responsible, dependable, be able to work independently and be an efficient time manager. Candidates must also be able to complete required documents in a timely manner. Provide professional services in our Early Supports and Services (ESS) program, which works with young children who have developmental delays, and their families.
