CFS SLEEPOUT 2018 tops $300,000!

Approximately 124 people slept outside on the cold ground in downtown Manchester on March 23, in Child and Family Services' 4th annual CFS SleepOut to raise funds and awareness to aid New Hampshire’s homeless youth.  So far, the event has raised more than $301,000.

This year, Governor Chris Sununu and 17 commissioners, along with Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig, and the state’s new child advocate, Moira O’Neill, were among the sleepers.  They joined several prominent business leaders including major sponsors, PROCON, Bank of America, Nancy Phillips & Associates/Cars for Causes, and Velcro USA, as well as CFS trustee and fund-raising dynamo, Lou Kaucic, and media partner, Adam Furious and ROCK 101.

Proceeds from the CFS SleepOut will help the agency in its efforts to prevent youth homelessness, to address the needs of youth who become homeless, and to redirect the lives of New Hampshire’s homeless youth.
