Child and Family Services is dedicated to advancing the well-being of children by providing an array of social services to strengthen family life and by promoting community commitment to the needs of children.

Standing

Founded in 1850, Child and Family Services is the oldest children’s charitable organization in NH. An independent/private nonprofit, CFS is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Children and Family Services and is a founding member of the Child Welfare League of America.

Funding

A nonprofit, non-sectarian organization, Child and Family Services receives funding from individuals, foundations, United Ways, corporate donations, state, federal and community grants, and civic organizations.

Fees

Services are either free, available on a sliding-fee scale or for a basic fee, or covered by insurance. Some programs are limited geographically or by funding specifications. Please refer to each program description for further information.
