Camp Spaulding Kiwanis Hall roof collapses
Child and Family Services’ Kiwanis Hall at Camp Spaulding succumbed to the weight of snow and collapsed yesterday flattening two-thirds of the building. Since it is the off-season, no one was in or near the building at the time. >Read More

CFS builds GREEN transitional home for Manchester youth
In light of the New Hampshire housing market and the long-term goals of independent living programs for our state’s young people, AND fueled with heightened environmental awareness, Child and Family Services recently purchased property on Union Street in Manchester and has begun building a brand new green house for the Transitional Living Program, a program that provides supportive housing and a range of vital services to disadvantaged young adults who are striving toward independence. >Read more
Child and Family Services honors local advocate, philanthropist
Child and Family Services of New Hampshire honored Nina Gardner and Timberland at its 157th annual meeting, held in November, at Fratellos in Manchester.
Nina Gardner of Sanbornton, NH, was presented with the Voice for Children award, an honor bestowed yearly to a New Hampshire citizen who has shown an outstanding commitment to and made a tremendous difference in the lives of children and families.

CFS appoints new Senior Vice President
Child and Family Services of NH recently appointed Ron Cohen to the position of Senior Vice President / Chief Operating Officer. In his role, Cohen will carry out the mission of CFS to advance the well-being of children and families by providing leadership and strategic expertise to the direct service program staff and the boards of directors and trustees as well as the human service community. >Read more
CFS moves headquarters
Child and Family Services of NH recently purchased property on 464 Chestnut Street, Manchester, previously the Granite State Credit Union building, and at the time of this publication, renovations are underway with plans for the CFS headquarters to move out of 99 Hanover Street and into this new facility on September 28. >Read more
CFS relocates Concord Regional Office
Concord, NH…Child and Family Services of NH (CFS) recently purchased property on 103 North State Street in Concord, previously the NEA building, and moved into the new location at the end of April. The move took place to accommodate the agency’s growth in programming and its expansion of services, and to better serve its clientele. >Read more
