Children’s Aid & Protective Society: The Gift Planning Program of Children’s and Family Services
The Children’s Aid & Protective Society was founded in 2000 in celebration of our Sesquicentennial Anniversary -- 150 years of service to New Hampshire’s children and families.
Your bequest or planned gift of any amount entitles you to enroll in the Society. The Society honors friends who support the future of Child and Family Services by creating a legacy, of any amount, through a bequest provision, gift annuity, gift of life insurance or retirement assets and other planned gifts.
Current members are listed in our Annual Report (unless anonymity is requested). Each member receives a handsome certificate of recognition, suitable for framing and an invitation to our special annual program for Society members.
Special member benefits
- a handsome, personalized membership certificate
- invitations to special member events
- a lifetime subscription to our newsletter
- annual listing in our Annual Report
- the satisfaction of your lifetime legacy
- our lasting gratitude!
The Founder’s Fund honors those who are able to endow their annual gift with an outright gift or bequest of $2,000 or more. Current board guidelines permit CFS to spend 5% of its endowment income each year. An outright gift or bequest of 20 times your current annual gift will produce the income to continue your annual gift for the future.
Individually named funds within the endowment fund may be created with an outright gift or bequest of $5,000 or more. A named fund additionally provides a lasting legacy for you and your loved ones.
