Giving
The special role of the private agency as advocate, innovator, standard setter, watchdog and visionary, would not be possible without the philanthropic spirit of individuals, corporations, civic, religious groups and foundations whose generosity have provided Child and Family Services with the stability it has today.
Dedicated to advancing the well being of individuals by providing an array of social services to strengthen family life, Child and Family Services looks to empower families with the knowledge, motivation and resources to help themselves. We strive to strengthen the family unit by providing affordable, accessible and meaningful counseling, education and support. We embrace all family members by providing programs and services that touch every stage of their lives. We believe the well being of future generations and the well being of our communities depends on the quality of care provided today.
Without charitable support, our staff would not be able to reach out to children who are at risk, families that are fractured, seniors who struggle financially and socially, the poorly educated, isolated, unemployed, underskilled, lonely, poor or disadvantaged to offer them the help they need to alleviate their distress, move toward independence and an improved quality of life, without regard to income. Although many of our programs do have fees associated with them, philanthropic dollars make it possible for us to offer our services on a sliding fee scale to anyone who needs them. No one is turned away because of an inability to pay.
You can provide charitable support to Child and Family Services in a number of ways:
