Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment / Adolescent Treatment Initiative
Overview
The Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment program is an outpatient service that works with youth ages 12 - 21 and their families.
Services include:
- Comprehensive substance abuse assessments
- Individual therapy
- Family therapy
- Drug testing
- Parent support group
- Therapeutic recreational activities
- Intensive outpatient program
These services successfully address typical barriers to treatment, such as involvement with court, conflicting school and family schedules and emotional and learning disabilities.
The Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment program’s intensive outpatient service is currently the only one of its kind in the state of New Hampshire. This 12-week program takes place three evenings per week, and provides high quality, high intensity group treatment to young people while maintaining them in their home and community.
