Infant Adoption Training for Healthcare and Social Service Professionals

The Understanding Infant Adoption training is designed for healthcare and social service professionals so that they can discuss the adoption option with pregnant patients who may not be able to parent their child.

Eligibility: You are eligible to attend if you are a healthcare or social service professional who interacts with pregnant women in your work.

Professionals will:

Develop the skill and confidence to discuss the adoption choice with patients in in an informative unbiased fashion.

Learn about:

  • Adoption law & practice in NH
  • Birthfather’s rights & responsibilities
  • Special issues in counseling teens
  • And much, much more!

 

The training program is FREE

Provides CEU's for nurses and social workers.

Training provided at your site by experienced adoption trainers.

 

Curriculum delivery includes:

Lecture, discussion, demonstration, team activities and video case vignettes.

 

Adoption training program produced by:

Spaulding for Children, Southport, Michigan for US Dept. of Health & Human Services.

 

NH trainings coordinated & provided by:
