Family Resource Centers: A place for families to go for parent education, skill building, social networking, support, family activities, empowerment and to gain access to community resources.
Services Provided
The Family Resource Center will provide education, services and resources to parents and caregivers. Families can access programs that focus on topics such as:
- Child development
- Parent/child communication
- Childcare needs
- Nutrition
- Parenting teens

Concord Connections

In Concord, Concord Connections is is a collaborative family resource center make up of several agencies in Concord; Child and Family Services, Riverbend Parent Child Center, UNH Cooperative Extension, Merrimack Valley Child Care, VNA, The Children’s Place and The Boys and Girls Club. Many of the parent education and support offerings are located at the Boys and Girls Club.

In Manchester, the FRC is an initiative of The Family Education Collaborative, a partnership between Child and Family Services, YWCA-Manchester, UNH Cooperative Extension and UNH-Manchester.
This Family Education Collaborative was initially funded by UNH Cooperative Extension and the UNH Outreach Scholarship Program to work in the community-- additional funding is being sought from a variety of sources. The Children’s Trust Fund has helped make the Family Resource Center possible.
The Family Resource Center of Greater Nashua
