Family Stabilization Program (FSP)

Intensive short-term crisis stabilization for children or adults and their families following an acute psychiatric hospitalization and/or to prevent hospitalization.

FSP provides intensive in-home stabilization services to help parents, family members and other caregivers find practical solutions to crisis situations and learn new coping skills for solving family problems in their own home.  

Services include: 

  • Crisis response and stabilization interventions are available 24-hours a day, 7 days-a-week.   
  • The program works in collaboration with the professional system of care that is involved with the family. 
  • Skilled staff delivers solution-focused, strength-based treatment services to individuals and families.
  • Family support and comprehensive case management services including parenting education
  • Education regarding mental health diagnosis, safety planning, identifying and addressing family patterns of interaction surrounding the individual's behavior, and developing new, more adaptive patterns of family interaction.
